CERF+ developed the content and design of the wall  and online guides in collaboration with a team of artists, graphic and web designers, art conservators, emergency management specialists, and art business consultants.  We began the development process by studying existing emergency management materials and by talking to artists who had received CERF assistance after Hurricane Katrina.  We continued to seek the input of artists across the country-- both those who have and have not weathered an emergency—throughout the incubation period, including enrolling 70 artists from all disciplines to field test a prototype.

A number of organizations and agencies have lent staff time and expertise.  They include:

The Actors Fund
Artist Trust
Book Arts Guild of Vermont
Bronx Council on the Arts
Center for Cultural Innovation
EAD Associates
Federal Emergency Management Agency
Heritage Preservation
